Wearing a long light pastel blue outfit with cutwork near the hem, Usha Vance, who isexpecting her fourth child, walked onto the South Lawn on Tuesday, April 28 for the British king and queen's arrival ceremony with husbandVice President JD Vancebefore taking a seat between her husband andSecretary of State Marco Rubio. U.K. Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper,White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles, Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and Secretary of Treasury Scott Bessent were also seated in the same row as the Vances.
The second lady accessorized her look with small drop earrings with her hair done in her signature style.

Usha andJD Vance's children
Usha Vance and the vice president announced the pregnancy on Jan. 20 witha statement posted to X.
"Usha and the baby are doing well, and we are looking forward to welcoming him in July," the statement said.
The Vance family currently has three children: eight-year-old Ewan, five-year-old Vivek, and three-year-old Mirabel. The couple is known to keep their children out of the public eye.
Divorce rumors
The announcement came after the pair faced a flurry of divorce rumors, which first surfaced before their move into the Naval Observatory and reached a fever pitch in November 2025.
Usha Vancestirred controversy in the final days of fall when she visited Camp Lejeune alongsidefirst lady Melania Trump. The second lady was seen talking to troops during the outingwithout her wedding ring. The second lady, despite rampant online discourse, has been photographed with and without her wedding band on numerous occasions.
A spokeswoman for the second lady told USA TODAY at the time that Vance is "a mother of three young children, who does a lot of dishes, gives lots of baths and forgets her ring sometimes."

"Sometimes I'm wearing it and sometimes I've just been to the gym and showered and I'm not wearing it,”Usha Vance previously told USA TODAY.
Though she and her husband "do find it kind of funny" that people are talking about them, she said she doesn't "find it fruitful" to keep track of the rumors.
JD Vance issued a statement on their expected baby on Jan. 20, 2026 which he said is due in July.

King Charles III, Queen Camilla's US visit
King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in the United States on April 27 to commemorate the nation's 250th anniversary. The royals' four-day trip began in Washington and has included aspeech by Charles to the U.S. Congressand meetings withPresident Donald Trumpand first ladyMelania Trump.
The visit marks the couple's first U.S. trip sinceKing Charles IIIascended the British throne in 2022, immediately after the death of his motherQueen Elizabeth II.
Trump visited Britain in September for his second state visit, years after his last one in 2019 during his first White House term.
The palace said in a statement that King Charles III will "celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States." The royal couple will stay in the United States through April 30 as they honor the 250th anniversary of America's independence from Great Britain.
Queen Elizabeth IImade four state visits to the United States during her reign: in 1957, 1976, 1991 and 2007. Charles also visited the United States 19 times as Prince of Wales, according to Buckingham Palace.
